SSG Offers $10,000 Reward

Chicago-based Stanley Security Group (SSG) today announced that it is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information provided to the Chicago Police Department leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting and murder of a Chicago police officer Clifton Lewis, yesterday, December 29 at about 8:30 p.m. in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood.

The off-duty officer was killed while working as a security officer at a grocery store and while attempting to stop a burglary. A spokesperson for the Stanley Security Group stated: "Current and former police officers are the backbone of SSG, and we want to help ensure that the cowards responsible for this despicable act are arrested and prosecuted. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Officer's family, friends and fellow officers."
